ABOUT
MELAKA MARATHON 2021 (#MELAKATHON2021) is dedicated as an ANNUAL and SIGNATURE sports tourism running event designated to promote the State of Melaka to the world. Featuring spectacular courses in iconic destinations, MELAKA MARATHON 2021 (#MELAKATHON2021) events focus on delivering the race of a lifetime to athletes of all ages and abilities, and creating a memorable spectator experience that captures all the excitement and emotion of this inspirational sport. MELAKA MARATHON 2021 (#MELAKATHON2021) opens Running race categories with 3KM Leisure Run, 5KM Fun Run, 10KM Competitive Run, 21KM Half Marathon and 42KM Full Marathon distance race to men and women.
The courses will take runners around the Klebang Beach, Melaka City and others interesting area around the historical city which boasts its newly-built township. Runners will also pass along undulating roads with low rise and fall that will offer runners a more exciting running experiences and the chance to clock better times. A double loop course, along flat, two-lined streets that surround Klebang Beach and Melaka City as well new tourism center featuring a collection of luxury hotel and resort surrounded by natural green landscapes ideal for outdoor sports. The race will start and end at Dataran Klebang, Melaka where fans and family will be waiting to cheer their loved ones to the finish line.

In view of the current pandemic situation, it is with a heavy heart to inform you the CANCELLATION of SOUTHERN MARATHON SERIES (Melaka Marathon). After a long postponements and consultations with the appropriate government authorities, health experts and our stakeholders and partners, it is with deep sadness and regret that we have been advised to CANCEL the event. As per stipulated in the terms and conditions of Johor Marathon event registration, there is NO REFUND POLICY as the cancellation of the event are caused by a Force Majuere (epidemic - Covid 19 Pandemic and Government Restriction) which is beyond the Organizer’s control.
However, as mark of appreciation towards all our participants and runners we will arrange to send the merchandise (running t-shirt and medal). The delivery charges will be borne by the Organizer. Therefore please update your registration information on the Google Form link provided below latest by 31st October 2021 to facilitate delivery/postage arrangements:-

1. SUBMISSION OF PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION UPDATE
- 1 until 31 October 2021
- Note: Only participants who update their registration information before 31st October 2021, and are verified and confirmed by the Registration Platform (Checkpointspot.Asia and JomRun) will be entitled to receive the merchandise.
2. VERIFICATION OF PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION WITH REGISTRATION PLATFORM PROVIDER (Checkpointspot.Asia and JomRun)
- 1 until 30 November 2021
3. SUBMISSION OF MERCHANDISE ORDER TO MANUFACTURER
- 1 December 2021 until 15 January 2022
- Note; Subject to final shipment schedule by the manufacturer.
4. DELIVERY OF MERCHANDISE TO PARTICIPANTS
- 16 January until 28 February 2022
- Delivery process will be implemented in stages to participants.
